Art Safari invites talented, multidisciplinary artists to apply for a unique residency experience on a lush, 243 acre sanctuary where they can nurture their work amind abundant natural inspiration. Nestled in the  serene landscape of New Berlin, NY –  just an hour from the Finger Lakes – our program welcomes sculptors, painters, visual artists, landscape artists, and creators of all kinds.

Our residency is uniquely open and flexible, designed in collaboration with each artist to provide precisely what they need to flourish. We prioritize artists who are self-motivated, open to collaboration, and eager to develop new ideas. We don’t have a fixed application process or application deadline—our approach is all about conversation and connection. 

Residency Highlights

• Full Board and Lodging – We provide comfortable accommodations and all meals, crafted from locally-sourced ingredients, allowing you to focus on your creative work.
• Studio Space and Tools – Resident artists have 24/7 access to a range of tools and workspaces, including a wood and metal shop, maker’s studio, and container studios.
• Personalized Support – Together, we’ll design a residency tailored to your artistic goals. We offer curatorial guidance, access to our community network, and optional opportunities for exhibitions, workshops, or mentoring.
• Engagement Opportunities – We offer space in our outdoor gallery and can help organize events or community workshops to showcase your work and connect with local audiences.
